It's all in the prep
Burntwood spreads across Chasetown, Chase Terrace and Boney Hay, settled family homes where a retiled bathroom or kitchen makes a real difference. Tiling lives or dies on what's underneath, so we prep and level the surface, tank wet areas properly and set out from true centre lines before a single tile goes up. That means dead-straight joints, tight even grout and clean cuts around every pipe, socket and edge: the details you actually notice every day. From a kitchen splashback to a full wet room in porcelain, ceramic or natural stone, we work tidy, seal it watertight and clear up as we go. Across Burntwood, Chasetown and Hammerwich it's a proper tiling job, not a rushed one, for a fixed price agreed before we start.
A good share of our work around Chasetown, Chase Terrace and Boney Hay is bungalows, and bungalows increasingly mean level-access showers rather than baths. That is a genuinely different job from tiling a bathroom: the floor has to be dropped or a former set in, the falls have to run to the drain from every direction, and the whole area needs tanking properly rather than relying on a tray. Done well it looks like a design choice instead of an adaptation. Done badly it puts water under the floor for years before anybody notices. We build them to be walked into in twenty years, not just this one.
